Join authors from Rattling Good Yarns Press for two panels on LGBTQ literature at Gerber/Hart on Saturday, October 9, 11:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Each panel will include readings from the authors as well as a moderated panel discussion.
The morning program, “How does place or setting influence your work?” (11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.), will include Yvonne Zipter (Infraction), Daniel M. Jaffe (Foreign Affairs: Male Tales of Lust & Love), Philip Gambone (As Far As I Can Tell: Finding My Father In World War II), Gerard Cabrera (Homo Novus), and St Sukie de la Croix (Chicago After Stonewall).
The afternoon panel, “How did your life experience influence your work?” (2:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m.), will include Dan Crowley (Danny, Growing Up Gay & Creative), Owen Keehnen (The Tell Me About It Series), James Magruder (Vamp Until Ready), and Rick Karlin (Paper Cuts: My Life in Chicago’s Volatile LGBTQ Press).
Rattling Good Yarns Press was founded in 2018 by Chicago author St Sukie de la Croix and Ian Henzel who acts as the managing publisher.
