Gerber/Hart offers internships for individuals who are seeking professional experience related to work in library and information sciences (including archives) or museum studies. Others are looking to gain experience outside of the requirements of a degree program. These interns generally do 120 hours (10-12 hours per week for 10-12 weeks).
If you are interested in further exploring an internship, please send the following to info@gerberhart.org: a resume and a message/cover letter that addresses your interest in doing work with Gerber/Hart, what experience you might be seeking obtain in an internship, your degree in progress/recently finished, an institutional contact, and if the internship/practicum is part of a degree program what the requirements are for the placement.
